Automatic Taping and Integrated Packaging Unit
Places the wheel weights from the Rotary Punch cutter, untouched by hand, onto high-adhesion double-sided tape; the packaging unit at the machine outlet puts the strips into 6 kg boxes.
Automatic Double-Sided Taping & Integrated Boxing
An automatic taping and packaging unit that sorts the cut and marked wheel weights from the Rotary Punch machine, places them on double-sided tape and boxes them untouched by hand.
Double-Sided Acrylic Taping Automation
The system places the cut weights on double-sided tape with acrylic adhesive and a blue protective film. Tape feeding and bonding are done automatically.
The strips are laid out in standard steps that technicians can easily break off and apply when fitting wheels.
Counting, Strip Forming & Integrated Boxing
The weights are counted with vibratory feeders and PLC control and laid out in strips of 12 x 5 g (60 g).
Mounted on the taping machine's outfeed conveyor and running in sync with it, the packaging unit places the strips, untouched by hand, into boxes of 100 strips (6 kg net weight).
Modular Capacity Growth
While the Rotary Punch cutting machine cuts about 300 kg of weights per hour, one taping machine tapes 90 kg per hour. To increase capacity, up to 4 taping machines can be connected to the same cutting machine, with no need for a new wire flattening or cutting machine.
The taping machine uses only 0.2 kWh of energy per hour.
